Myrtle Page Teague Speed 88, Clayton,Ga.
Myrtle Page Teague Speed, 88, of Clayton, Georgia died Thursday April 2, 2009 at her residence.
She was born on May 20, 1920 in Rabun County to the late Henry Miles Page and Fannie Susan Turpin Page. She was a home maker and was a member of the Warwoman Home Makers Club and was a quilter at the Senior Center and a member of the Antioch Methodist Church .
She was the widow of the late John D. Speed. And was first married to the late Paul Teague.
In addition to both of her husbands she was preceded in death by one grand-daughter, Amanda Deeann Speed, two brothers Norman Page and Jesse Page and by three sisters, Jenny Fugate, Annie Wilbanks, Icie Rickman.
She is survived by four sons and two daughters-in-law;Dan Teague and his wife Martha, Randy Teague, Dee Speed, Greg Speed and his wife Pam all of Clayton, Ga. three daughters and sons-in-law; Diane and her husband Henry Williamson of Commerce, Ga., Susan and husband Andrew Speed and Karen and Bill Watkins, both of Clayton, Ga., three brothers and one sister-in-law, Cliff Page of Michigan, Hubert Page , Clayton, Ga. and Ray and Mary Page of Clayton, Ga., two sisters, Margie Bleckley of Mtn. City, Ga. and Faye Marsengill of Clayton, Ga. seventeen grandchildren and twenty-four great-grandchildren and several nieces , nephews and cousins also survive.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday April 5, 2009 at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Raymond Page and Rev. Lee Krivsky officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
The body is at the Hunter Funeral Home where family will receive friends on Saturday Night, April 4, 2009 from 6 to 9 P.M. The family is at the home of her Grand-daughter, Cindi Freeman on Warwoman Rd., Clayton. Ga.
