Myrtice Legg

Myrtice Stubblefield Legg, 90, of Demorest, Georgia., formerly of the Wolf Creek Community, RT, 1, Tiger, GA., died Friday July 26, 2013 in Demorest, GA.

Born April 7, 1923 in Rabun County, she was the daughter of the late William Jefferson and Betty Cannon Stubblefield. She was the widow of Harold F. Legg. She lived in Tampa, Florida for many years and retired there as manager of a bowling league. She was a member of the Wolf Creek Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters, and is survived by two sisters; Gladys Stubblefield Thomas of Demorest, Georgia., and Alice Stubblefield Saunders of Charlotte, North Carolina. Several nephews, nieces and cousins also survive.

The body has been cremated and a memorial service will be held Sunday August 4,2013 At The Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home 2:30 P.M. with Layman Lloyd Hunter officiating
