Milo Clason Cabaniss of Clayton, GA and Stockbridge, GA, died peacefully at her home in Clayton, GA on Sunday, October 12, 2014.

Mrs. Cabaniss was born and raised in Columbus, GA and was the daughter of the late Thomas Sidney Clason and Mary Frances Wells of Columbus, GA. She is preceded in death by her husband, Otis Ezell Cabaniss.

She is survived her daughter, Challis Cabaniss Surles and her husband, Richard. Three grandchildren, Crichton Bentley-Shave and her husband, Terry , Robert Cabaniss Bentley and his wife, Stephanie, and Richard Surles, Jr. and his wife Krista, all from Stockbridge, GA . She is also survived by a great grandson, Brock Surles and a sister, Kirkland Clason, Cashiers, NC., and many loving friends.

A memorial service is planned for Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at 3:00 PM, Hunter Funeral Home, Warwoman Rd., Clayton, GA. The service will be preceded by a visitation at the funeral home from 2:00 to 3:00 PM.

Burial services will be held graveside, Parkhill Cemetery, Columbus, GA on Friday, October 17th, 2014 at 2:00 PM. Visitation will be held immediately following the service.

Flowers will be graciously accepted. Memorials may be made to your local American Heart Association or Noah’s Ark Animal Sanctuary, 712 L G Griffin Road, Locust Grove, GA 30248
