Mildred Taylor Gragg 80, Tiger


Mary Mildred Taylor Gragg, 80, of Tiger, widow of Burlis H. Gragg, died Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at her residence. Born in Rabun County March 13, 1932 she was a daughter of the late Balus Duncan and Lillie Belle Ivester Taylor. She was employed in the textile industry for many years and was a member of Battle Branch Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by six brothers, Vern, Balus, Jr., Sutton, Jeff, Claude and Stuart Taylor and three sisters, Lillie Mae Taylor, Stella Hill-Hamby, Ella Ruth Shirley. Mrs. Gragg as the last member of her immediate family.
Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Mary Gragg of Flowery Branch, GA and Gerald Gragg of Dillard, GA; two daughters and sons-in-law, Deborah K. and Mickey Justice of Dillard, GA and Sheryl and Nelson English of Clayton; five grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren; special friends Ann Moss and Jean Murphy. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Thursday, March 22, 2012 at the Hunter Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ronia Hunter and Rev. Madison McCrackin officiating. Burial will follow in Rabun Memory Park.
The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 6 PM until 8 PM on Wednesday, March 21, 2012
The family is at the home of her son Gerald Gragg, on Back Street in Dillard.
Hunter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
