Mildred Eller Tyler Ensley, 73, of Mountain City, Georgia., died Tuesday December 29, 2009 in Mountain View Health Care Center, Clayton, Georgia
Born In Rabun County, November 2, 1936 she was the daughter of the late Leonard (Shorty) Eller and Lula Day Trusty Eller.
She was twice married, first to the late Larue Tyler and later to George H. Ensley, She was a member of the Blue Heights Baptist Church where she served as Church Treasurer for twenty plus years. She was a member of the Mountain City Homemakers Club for many years.
Mildred was preceded in death by a son David Michael Tyler and a grandson, Bryan Richard Tyler, and by a brother, Randy Collins, a sister Ann Pierce and is survived by her husband, George H. Ensley of the home, two sons and daughters-in-law, Billy and Janice Tyler of Mt. City, Ga., and Ricky and Kathy Ensley of Aragon, Ga. Three brothers, James (Buddy) Collins and Everett Collins, both of Macon and Gene Eller of Clarkesville, Ga. Three sisters, Edith Pruett and Lillian Collins both of Macon Ga., and Nancy Pearl Robbins of Demorest, Ga. Three grandchildren, Brooke Tyler Kilby, Nolen Ensley and Callie Ensley. Two great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral Services will be at 2:00 P.M. Thursday December 31, 2009 at the Blue Heights Baptist Church with Rev. Gabe Southards and Mr. Jimmy Law officiating. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery.
The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where family will receive friends from 7 to 9 P.M. (Tonight) Wednesday December 30, 2009.
The body will be placed in the Church at 1:00 P.M. Thursday December 31, 2009 to lie in state.
The family is at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Janice Tyler on Down Home Lane, Mountain City.
Family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Blue Heights Baptist Church Benevolence Committee, P.O. Box 575, Mt. City, Ga. 30562
