Michael Hugh Watts, 56, of Tiger, Ga. affectionately known as “Alfie”, died Sunday July 12, 2015 at Mtn. Lakes Medical Center, Clayton, Ga. Born in Rabun Co. Ga. May 25, 1959, he was the son of Max & Edith Cantrell Watts of Tiger, Ga. He was a logger in the timber industry and was a member of Rocky Grove Baptist Church.
Alfie was preceded in death by two brothers, Mark Watts and Anthony Watts and is survived by his wife, Trish Littrell Watts of the home; his parents, Max & Edith Cantrell Watts of Tiger, Ga., One daughter, Rebecca Watts Morgan (Brian) of Clayton, Ga. Two brothers Johnny Watts (Elena) & Kyle Watts (Sabrona) of Tiger, Ga. Three sisters, June Littrell (Glen) Pam Beck (Fred) & Laura Holt (Shayne) all of Tiger, Ga. Three grandchildren Bailey Morgan, Bethany Morgan, & Cole Morgan.
Funeral services will be at Rocky Grove Baptist Church Thursday July 16, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Kyle Watts & Joe McCrackin officiating. Burial will follow in the Watts Family Cemetery, Tiger, Ga. The body is at Hunter Funeral Home and will be taken to Rocky Grove Baptist Church Wednesday July 15, 2015 where visitation will be from 6 to 8 P.M. The family is at the home of his parents Max and Edith Cantrell Watts on Bellview Road, Tiger, Ga. Flowers are acceptable and memorial donations may be made to Rocky Grove Baptist Church 6900 Bridge Creek Rd. Tiger, Ga. 30576
