Michael Lee Thomason

Michael "Mikie" Lee Thomason, 44, passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2021.

Born in Rabun County, GA, a son of Donna Smith Thomason of Mauldin and the late Milton Preston Thomason, Mr. Thomason was a self-employed welder and of the Baptist faith.

Mikie loved riding his Harley Davidson, tattooing, and drawing, but his greatest passion was his music. He will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew him.

Surviving, in addition to his mother, are the mother of his children, Lindsey Thomason of Westminster; his son, Zakk Thomason of Westminster; his two daughters, Lexie Thomason and Breeze Thomason, both of Westminster; his brother, Mick Thomason (Andrea) of Simpsonville; his two sisters, Rebecca Thomason (Lori) of Pickens, and Dodie Cothran (Mike) of Easley; and his best friend, Greg Gant.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, May 23, 2021 in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home, Downtown. Burial will follow in the Smith Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. You may live stream the service at 2:00 PM by visiting this link Downtown Chapel Live Stream.
