Maude Talley Wilson , 96 , of Warwoman Rd. Clayton , Ga. died Sunday January 11 , 2009 in Mtn. Lakes Medical Center , Clayton .
Born in Rabun County , Ga. Dec.6 , 1912 , she was the daughter of the late Elzie and Mary Lee Owens Talley . She was the widow of John B. Wilson. She was a Homemaker and was a member of the Clear Creek Baptist Church , Highlands , North Carolina .
She was preceded in death by an infant son and by two brothers , Carl and Louie Talley . and is survived by a son Rev. Everett Wilson and his wife Elizabeth and by four daughters , Evelyn Mason , of Williamston , South Carolina , Mildred Keener and her husband Kenneth , Ollie Buchannan and her husband Alvin , Betty Payne and her husband David, all of Clayton. Six grandchildren , thirteen great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren also survive . She was the last member of her immediate family .
Funeral Services will be at 2:00 P.M. Thursday January 15 , 2009 at the Clear Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Madison McCrackin and Rev. Larry Cannon officiating. Burial will follow in the Clear Creek Cemetery.
The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday night January 14, 2009 . The body will be placed in the church at 1:00 P.M. Thursday January 15 , 2009 to lie in state . The family is at the home on Warwoman Rd. Clayton .
