Maude F. Snider , 84 , of Clayton , Ga. died Thursday January 29 , 2009 in Mtn. View Health Care Center in Clayton .
Born in Oconee County , South Carolina Sept. 18 , 1924 she was the daughter of the late Novie Green Snider and Lela Bottoms Snider .She was a Home Maker and a member of the Clayton Baptist Church where she was a member of the Ideal Sunday School Class.
She was preceded in death by her son, Paul Snider and by three brothers ; Grover Snider , Roy Snider and John Snider, also by two sisters , Carrie Snider and Ruby Webb.And is survived by one grandson , Bert Snider of Walhalla , South Carolina , one great grandson , Isaac Snider of Clayton , Ga. , her daughter-in-law , Louise Snider of Walhalla , South Carolina also surviving are four sisters; Rosalee Wood of Oakwood , Ga. , Mattie Hooper of Mt. Rest , South Carolina , Eula Hughs of Green Mtn. , North Carolina and Hazel Webb of Windson , North Carolina. Numerous nieces , nephews and cousins also survive .
Funeral Services will be at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home at 2:00 P.M. Saturday Jan.31, 2009 conducted by Rev. Oliver Rice and Layman Lloyd Hunter .Burial will be in Mt. Rest Cemetery , Mt. Rest , South Carolina (Oconee County)
The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where family will receive friends from 12:00 noon to 2:00 P.M. Saturday , January 31 , 2009 . The family is at their respective residences .
