Mary Webb

Mary Viola Webb, 68, of Colchester Lane, Mountain City, Georgia., died Friday February 20, 2015 at her residence.

Born in Macon County, North Carolina., August 29, 1946 she was the daughter of Mary Magdaline Beasley O’shields, of Tiger, and the late William Harry Webb. She loved her friends and family and was of the Baptist Faith.

She was preceded in death, besides her father, by a daughter, Daisy Webb and by three brothers, Roy Beasley, Harrison O’shields, Jr., and James O’shields., and is survived by her mother, Mary O’shields of Tiger, GA., by three sons, Dean Webb of Rabun Gap, GA., Charles Roberts of Rabun Gap, GA., Randy Roberts (Becky) of Tiger, GA., three daughters, Tammy Roberts of Seneca, SC., Angela Roberts of Mt. City, GA., Tina Elrod of Seneca, SC. Special companion of many years, Alvin Leroy. Thirty two grandchildren and twenty-five great grandchildren also survive. Several nephews, nieces and cousins also survive.

Funeral Services will be Monday February 23, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with Rev. Thomas Burrell officiating. Burial will follow in the Taylor’s Chapel Cemetery Mountain City, Georgia.

The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where family will receive friends Sunday February 22, 2015 from 3:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. The family is at the home on Colchester Lane.
