Mary Frances Ledbetter Emory, 84, Clayton, Ga.
Mary Frances Ledbetter Emory, 84, of Black Rock Road, Mountain City, Georgia died Sunday December 27, 2009 in Mountain Lakes Medical Center, Clayton, Ga.
Born in Rabun County January 25, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Webb and Rosalee Alexander Ledbetter. She was a homemaker and was retired from the textile industry. She attended the Baptist Church.
She was the widow of Jesse Emory. She was preceded in death by a son, Robert Emory and a daughter, Williamae Hopper and a granddaughter, Malinda Loggins and by four brothers, William, George, Edward and Robert Ledbetter and by one sister, Martha Hooper.
She is survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law, Rose and Russell Hunnicutt and Betty and Davis Green of Mountain City Ga., and Charlotte Beebe of Martin, Ga., one sister, Barbara Sue Harmon of Clayton., nine grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren as well as several nephews, nieces and cousins.
Funeral Services will be at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday December 30, 2009 at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Hunnicutt and Rev. Ray Conner officiating. Burial will be in the Taylor’s Chapel Cemetery.
The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Tuesday evening December 29, 2009. The family is at their respective residences.
