Mary Frances Carter Beaty 81, Clayton, Georgia.


Mary Frances Carter Beaty, 81, of the Warwoman Community, Clayton, affectionately known as “Miss Mary” went to be with the Lord on Monday October 15, 2012, surrounded by her children and grandchildren. “Miss Mary” had many friends and she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and her great-grandchildren.
Born in Asheville, NC., October 28, 1930 she was the daughter of the late James Sanford Carter and Belva Lockwood Hardin Carter. She was the widow of George W. Beaty.
“Miss Mary” was a homemaker and was employed by Empire MFG. Company for some time and was a member of the Battle Branch Baptist Church.
“Miss Mary” is survived by a son and his wife, Wayne and Debbie Beaty of Clayton: three daughters and their husbands, Nancy and Michael Holcomb and Barbara and Robert Ledford of Clayton, and Sandra and Allen Vinson of Franklin, NC; one brother, Bobby Carter of Cumming, GA. Seven grandchildren, Jeff Holcomb, Brandi Ledford, Jackie Beaty, Kodi Nix, Tessa, Chyanne and Chantel Vinson; Four great grandchildren, Alexis, Gavin, Landon Holcomb and Julie Beaty.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday October 17, 2012 at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Cannon and Layman Lloyd Hunter officiating. Burial will be the Antioch Methodist Church Cemetery in the Warwoman Community.
The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Tuesday evening October 16, 2012.
The family is at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Michael Holcomb on Warwoman Road Clayton, GA.
Hunter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
