Marlor Speed

Marlor Calvin Speed, Jr., 89, of Clayton, GA., died Thursday March 5, 2015 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center, Gainesville, Georgia. He was the husband of Margaret Kinney Speed.

Born in Clayton, Georgia., August 21, 1925 he was the son of the late Marlor Calvin Speed, Sr., and Amanda Norton Speed. Mr. Speed was a farmer and was of the Baptist Faith.

He was preceded in death besides his parents, by two brothers, Don Speed and J.P. Speed and one sister, Helen Speed and is survived by his loving wife ,of many years Margaret Kinney Speed, of the home., three brothers,Neb Speed., Milton Speed, Melvin Speed all of Clayton, GA., two daughters, Mariana Welch of Atlanta, GA., and Maggie Kinney of Philadelphia.

Funeral Services will be Saturday March 7, 2015 at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Rev, Raymond Page officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.

The body is at Hunter Funeral Home and Visitation will be at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Saturday March 7, 2015 from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M.(the funeral hour). The family is at their respective residences.
