Mark Watts, 46 of Tiger, GA son of Max and Edith Cantrell Watts, died Saturday May 9, 2009 at his home. Born April 3, 1963 in Rabun County , he was the son of Max and Edith Cantrell Watts of Tiger. He was a Logger and Heavy Equipment operator in the Forestry Industry. He was a member of the Rocky Grove Baptist Church.
He was the grandson of the late Hugh and Virginia Cantrell and the John and Beulah Watts.He is survived by his parents, Max and Edith Cantrell Watts of Tiger. Three brothers and their wives, Johnny and Elena Watts of Clayton, Mike and Trish Watts and Kyle and Sabrona Watts of Tiger. Three sisters and their husbands, June and Glen Littrell, Pam and Fred Beck and Laura and Shayne Holt all of Tiger. A host of nephews, nieces and cousins also survive.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday May 13, 2009 at the Rocky Grove Baptist Church with REV . Joe McCrackin, REV . John Gipson and REV . Marty Kilby officiating, with REV . Rusty Wolfrey conducting graveside service. Burial will follow in the Watts family Cemetery in the Bridge Creek Community. RT 1, Tiger GA.
The body is at Hunter Funeral Home and will be taken to the Rocky Grove Baptist Church where family will receive friends from 6 to 9 PM Tuesday evening May 12, 2009. The family is at the home of his parents Max and Edith Watts on Bellview RD, off Charlie Mountain RD. in the Bridge Creek Community.
