Marjorie Stubblefield Kilgore 77, Smyrna, Ga.


Marjorie “Marge” Stubblefield Kilgore, 77, of Smyrna, Ga. passed away Tuesday April 7, 2009. Mrs Kilgore graduated from Lakemont High School in 1949, she was a long time member of Second Baptist Church of College Park, now known as McDonough Road Baptist Church in Fayettesville. She was preceded in death by her husband Jack R. Kilgore; parents, William J. and Betty Alice Cannon Stubblefield and 5 brothers, W.R , Howard, Luther, J.C and Arlice Stubblefield and a sister, Bernice Taylor. Marge is survived by her daughter, Ginger K. Hammond of Smyrna; grandsons, Miles and Kirk Hammond both of Smyrna; sisters, Mytrice Legg of Tampa, FL., Gladys Thomas of Beaufort, S.C. and Alice Saunders of Charlotte, N.C. Graveside Services where held on Friday April 10, 2009 at the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in College Park. Horis and Ward Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
