Marion Edwards

Marion McClain Edwards, 83, of Payne Hill Drive, Clayton, Georgia., died Thursday morning July 11, 2013 in Baldwin, Georgia.

Born in Tallulah Falls, Georgia., July 20, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Virgil L. McClain and Delia Burrell McClain. She was a homemaker and a member of the Clayton Baptist Church.

Marion was preceded in death by her husband William W. Edwards and is survived by three sons, William T. Edwards (Kay) of Tiger, GA., Donald W. Edwards (Dena) of Atlanta, GA., and Darryl Edwards, (Brenda) of Woodstock, GA. Eight grandchildren, Billy Edwards, Jr., Trenton Lee Edwards, Laura Elizabeth Edwards, Kyle Lee Edwards, Carolyn Edwards, Courtney Buchanan, Destiny Deetz and Gracie Deetz. One great grandson, Brayden Edwards. Also two beloved friends and confidantes, Kathy W. Lee and Terry Morris of Clayton.

Funeral Services will be Friday July 12, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at the Clayton Baptist Church with Layman Lloyd Hunter officiating. Burial will be in Rabun Memory Park.

The body is at Hunter Funeral Home and will be taken to the Clayton Baptist Church where family will receive friends Friday July 12, 2013 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 P.M. (The Funeral Hour). The family is at their respective residences.
