Margie Bleckley Crowe, 73, Clayton, Ga.


Margie Bleckley Crowe, 73 of The Warwoman Community, Rt. 1. Clayton, died Friday June 26, 2009 at her home.
Born in Rabun County, July 31, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Hal Bleckley and Cora Speed Bleckley Crowe. She was a Seamstress in the Textile Industry and a Home Maker. She was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Marvin Bleckley and Pickett Bleckley. And is survived by her husband, Junior Crowe of the home. Two sons and spouses, Wallace (Josh) Crowe and wife Pam and Wayne Crowe and spouse Sandy, both of Waynesville, NC. Two daughters and sons in law, Kitty and Dennis Speed of Clayton, and Karen and Benny Hampton of Franklin, NC. Two sisters Julie Bleckley Speed of Commerce, Ga. And Virginia Bleckley Hopkins of Tiger. Six brothers, Andrew Bleckley, Jeff Bleckley, and Richard Bleckley all of Clayton. Bill Bleckley of Hendersonville, TN. Allen Bleckley of Franklin, NC and Alvin Crowe of Toccoa, Ga. Eight grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren. Several nephews, nieces and cousins also survive.
Funeral Services will be at 2:00 P.M. Sunday June 28, 2009 at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Oliver Rice and Rev. Larry Cannon officiating. Rev. Raymond Page will conduct the Graveside Service. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery.
The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where family will receive friends from 7 to 9 P.M. (Tonight) Saturday June 27, 2009. The body will be placed in the Church at 1:00 P.M. Sunday June 28, 2009 to lie in state. The family is at home in the Warwoman Community, Rt. 1, Clayton, Ga.
