Margaret Hoffman McCall, 78, of Gipson Lane, Lakemont, Georgia., died Friday June 15, 2012 in Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville. She was the widow of Rabun Martin McCall.
Born in Rabun county September 3, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Charles A. Hoffman and Pauline Phillips Hoffman.
She was a postal clerk with the US. Postal Service for fifty Years. She was a faithful Member of the Camp Creek Baptist Church and to her Lord.
Margaret is survived by one son, Stephen McCall and his wife Lisa of Wiley, GA. Two brothers, Jack Hoffman of Gainesville, GA. and Gary Hoffman of Peru, Indiana. Two sisters, Shirley Southards of MT. City, GA. and Judy McKay of Lakemont, GA. Two grandchildren, Weston and Haleigh McCall. Several nephews, nieces and cousins also survive.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday June 18, 2012 at the Camp Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Mickey Woods and Rev. Gabriel Southards officating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Rev. John Gipson conducting the graveside service.
The body is at Hunter Funeral home where the family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Sunday June 17, 2012. The body will be placed in the church at1:00 P.M. Monday to lie in state.
The family is at the home on Gipson Lane, Lakemont, GA.
