Lurlene Stephens

Lurlene Wilbanks Stephens, 71, of Tiger, GA died Tuesday January 29, 2019 at her home.

Born December 21, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Marlor Wilbanks and Wilda Nations Wilbanks. She worked as a clerk for Handy Hardware and was a member of Joy Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, Marlor and Wilda Wilbanks, by her husband, James A. Stephens and by five brothers and five sisters and one great grandchild. She is survived by two daughters, Janice Pruitt (Robert) of Tiger, GA, Tammy Fowler (Douglas) of Winder, GA and a brother, Bartley Wilbanks of Martin, GA, and two sisters, Florine Wall of Tiger, GA and Jewell Speed of Clayton, GA. Five grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren also survive. 

Funeral services will be Saturday February 2, 2019 at 2:00pm at the Eastside Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with Rev. Adam Wright officiating. Burial to follow at Wiley Presbyterian Cemetery.

The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where visitation will be in the Eastside Chapel Friday from 6:00pm to 8:00pm February 1, 2019. The family is at the home on Sidetrack Lane Tiger, GA.
