Lucy Henslee Webb, 89, of Alto, Georgia., formerly of Rabun County, Georgia., died at the home of her daughter, Mary Webb Kitchens in Alto. She was the widow of Grover Webb, Sr.
Born in Rabun County October 19, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Will and Delia McCall Henslee. She was retired from housekeeping in hospitals and being a homemaker in her own home. She was a member of the Clayton Church of God and loved everybody, and especially her family.
In addition to her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Rev. Grover Webb, Jr., and by a grandson, James Kevin Webb and by a brother, Cecil Henslee.
“Miss” Lucy is survived by four Sons, Jimmy Webb of Hollywood, GA., Calvin Webb, of Rabun Gap, GA., Ronnie Webb of Alto, GA., and Freddy Webb of Clayton, GA., Three daughters, Clara L. Tumlin and Mary Webb Kitchens of Alto, GA., Michelle Lajara of Mt. City, GA.,. one sister, Alice Richert of Michigan. Eighteen grandchildren, twenty nine great grandchildren and ten great great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday October 6, 2015 at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with Rev. Bryan Alexander and Layman Lloyd Hunter officiating Burial will be in the Betty’s Creek Baptist Cemetery in Rabun Gap.
The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where visitation will be Monday evening October 5, 2015 from 6 to 8 P.M. The family is at the home of her daughter-in-law, Mrs., Grover Webb, Jr., on Syrup City Road in Tiger, GA.;
Hunter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
