Louise Queen Farmer, 82, of Mountain City, Georgia., died Saturday night, July 5, 2014 in Habersham Medical Center, Demorest, Georgia.
Born in Mountain City, Georgia., May 21, 1932 she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Belle Watts Queen. She was the widow of Young H. Farmer. She was a cook for the Rabun County School System and her last employment was for Rabun County Hospital. She was a member of the Blue Heights Baptist Church. She was the last member of her immediate family.
She was preceded in death, besides her parents and husband, by two brothers, J.B. Queen and Fred Queen and is survived by two sons; Mike Farmer (Pat) of Clayton, GA., and Danny Farmer (Becky) of Danielsville, GA. Six grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Several nephews, nieces and cousins also survive.
Funeral services will be Wednesday July 9, 2014 at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Danny Cannon and Layman Lloyd Hunter officiating. Burial will be in Rabun Memory Park, Tiger, Georgia.
The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where family will receive friends from 6 to 9 P.M. Tuesday July 8, 2014. The family is at the home on North Johnson Avenue, Mountain City, Georgia.
