Louise Jones Carter, 68, of Wiley Georgia died Saturday March 26, 2011 at Athens Regional Hospital, Athens, Georgia.
Born in Rabun County Georgia August 28, 1942 to the late Joe Jones and Ruth Sutton Jones. She was the widow of AV. Carter. She was a homemaker and was Baptist by Faith.
She was also preceded in death by one son, Ronald S.Carter., and by one brother, Calvin Sutton.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law Inez Creed and Lynn Shook of Lakemount, Georgia., three sons, Larry Carter, of Cornelia, Georgia., Gary Carter, of Wiley, Georgia., and Terry Carter of Homer, Georgia., two sisters, Linda (Lena) Hensley of Mt. City and Nancy Sutton Woodall, of Mt. City, three brothers, Reed Jones of Clayton, GA., Larry Jones, of Mt. City., and Thomas Sutton of Clayton, GA., four grandchildren, six great grandchildren, several nephews, nieces and cousins and a special friend Joyce Shook also survive.
Funeral Services will be Tuesday March 29, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with Rev. Marvin Reid officiating. Burial will follow in the Rocky Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
The body is at the Funeral Home where family will receive friends Monday March 28, 2011 from 6 TO 9 P.M.
The family is at their respective Residences.
