Lloyd Carl Rogers 62, Toccoa


Lloyd Carl Rogers, 62, of Toccoa, Georgia died Thursday April 7, 2010 at his residence.
Born in Bryson City, North Carolina August, 30, 1947 he was the son of the late Jasper Carl Rogers and Mildred Marie Warren Rogers. He was of the Christian Faith and was a Warehouse Supervisor for Miliken.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Iris Rogers Barker and is survived by his mother Mildred Rogers, of Rabun Gap, Georgia, three daughters and two sons-in-law, Annette and Anthony Jakubac of Toccoa, Georgia, Linette and Marty Kilby, Clayton, Georgia and Kimberly Rogers of Sevierville, Tennessee, One sister and brother-in-law, Lois and Ernest Nix of Rabun Gap, Georgia, two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews, cousins also survive.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, April 10, 2010 in the Hunter Funeral Home Chapel at 11 A.M. with the Rev. Roy Conner, Evangelist, Marvin Reid, Rev. Marty Kilby officiating Grave side. Burial will be in the Wright Cemetery in Otto, North Carolina.
The body is at the Hunter Funeral Home where family will receive friends from 7 to 9 P.M. Friday, April 9, 2010.
The family is at the home of his mother Mildred Rogers in the Ponderosa Community, Rabun Gap, Georgia.
