Linda Moore Miller Dills, 62, Clayton, Ga.


Linda Moore Miller Dills, 62 of Rabun Gap, Ga. Died Tuesday July 21, 2009. Born in Rabun County, Georgia. She was the daughter of Vera Kelly Moore of Rabun Gap and the late Wallace Robert Moore. She was an employee in the Textile Industry and a homemaker. She attended the Baptist Church.
She was twice married, first to the late Homer Miller and later to the late Lester Dills. She is survived by her mother, Vera Kelly Moore of Rabun Gap, Ga. By two daughters and a son-in law, Wanda Thurmond of Rabun Gap and Lisa and Paul Losey of Clayton. Two step daughters and spouses, Elizabeth and the Rev. Carl Carpenter of Clayton, and Gail and Terry Blackwell of Hartwell, Ga. Three step sons and their spouses, Jerry and Debbie Dills of Rabun Gap, Alan and Susie Dills of Crossville, Tenn. and Fred and Melanie Dills of Rabun Gap. Four Brothers and sisters-in-law, Wayne and Betty Moore of Clayton, Robert and Monica Moore of Rabun Gap, Gordon and Teresa Moore of Midville, Ga. and Kenneth Moore of Rabun Gap. One sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Benny Brown of Dewey Rose, Ga. Four grandchildren, Ten step grandchildren and Ten step great grandchildern. Several Nephews, Nieces and Cousins also survive.
Funeral Services will be at 2:00 P.M. Saturday July 25, 2009 at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with Rev. Ray Conner and Layman Lloyd Hunter Officiating. Burial will follow in the Head of Tennessee Baptist Church Cemetery. The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where family will receive friends from 2 to 4 P.M. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday July 24, 2009. The family is at the home of her brother, Kenneth Moore on Old Kelsey Mountain Rd. in the Kelly’s Creek Community, Rabun Gap.
