Lenora Welborn Robinson, 73, of Bill Robinson Lane, Tiger, Georgia., died Saturday December 14, 2013 in Northeast Georgia Medical Center, Gainesville, Georgia.
Born in Rabun County February 26, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Lex and Bertha Holcomb Welborn. She was a homemaker and attended the Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death her husband Jack P. Robinson and by a brother, Carlton Welborn and by a sister Louise Henslee and is survived by a son, Billy Robinson of Rutherfordton, NC., and by four daughters, Lynn Garrison of Demorest, GA., Gail Girvan of Holytown, Scotland, Jacqueline Craven of Clarkesville, GA., and Susie Justus of Lakemont, GA. Two sisters, Lillian Queen of Dublin, GA., and Naomi McClain of Rabun Gap, GA. Seven grandchildren; Chris Scott, Nicole Fortenberry, Ashley Bogue, Julia Burton, Jamie Burton, Elaina Cochran and CPL. Austin Franklin, stationed in Afghanistan. Five great grandchildren; Tristin Helton, Gracie and Garrett Fortenberry, Lanie Bogue and Samuel Cochran.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday December 17, 2013 at the new Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with Rev. Raburne Wilson and Rev. Kyle Watts officiating. Layman Lloyd Hunter will conduct graveside services. Burial will be in the Shook Cemetery in the Bridge Creek Community.
The Body is at Hunter Funeral Home where family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Monday December 16, 2013. The family is at the home of Betty Justus on Wayah Trail, Clayton, Georgia.
