Lelia A. Taylor, 82, of Nevada Lane Tiger, Georgia., died Thursday November 7, 2013 at her residence.
Born in Rabun County September 12, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Easburn and Alice Robinson Whitworth. She was the widow of William Alfred Taylor. Lelia was a homemaker and served as a caregiver to a lot of people. She was a member of Peoples Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death, besides her husband and parents, by a sister, Barbara Callenback, and is survived by two sons, Greg Taylor (Robin) of Tiger, GA., and Dean Taylor of Tiger, GA. Two daughters, Charlotte Stuart of Tiger and Gail Youngblood (Richard) of Clayton. One brother; Earl Whitworth of Clarkesville, GA. Three sisters; Lula Carnes of Tiger, GA, Thelma West and Ellie Henslee, both of Clarkesville, GA. Seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral Services will be at 1:00 P.M. Sunday November 10, 2013 at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with Rev. Kyle Watts officiating. Burial will be in Rabun Memory Park.
The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Saturday November 9, 2013. The family is at the home on Nevada Lane, off Bridge Creek Road, Tiger, Georgia.
