Leamon Dean Dryman

Leamon Dean Dryman, Sr. 84, of Buck Knob Road Scaly Mountain, North Carolina., died Friday March 06, 2020 at Highlands Cashiers Hospital Highlands, NC., He was the husband of Melba Wilburn Dryman.

Born in Macon County, North Carolina., September 8, 1935 to the late John Hugh Dryman and Mary Elizabeth Owens Dryman. He was a farmer and construction worker and a member of the Scaly Mountain Church of God.

He was preceded in death besides his parents, John and Mary Dryman by one son, Dean Dryman by one sister, Charlotte Roulston and is survived by his wife, Melba Wilburn Dryman of the home married for over 65 years. Four sons, Greg Dryman of Franklin, NC., Patrick Dryman (Amy) of Otto, NC., Tim Dryman (Becky) of Otto, NC., Stacey Dryman (Leslie) of Scaly Mountain, NC., one daughter, Debbie McGill (Jerry) of Highlands, NC., one brother, Robert Dryman (Lucille) of Franklin, NC., and one sister, Jeanette Head of Scaly Mountain, NC. Eleven grandchildren and thirteen great- grandchildren. Several nephews nieces and cousins also survive.

Funeral services will be at the Scaly Mountain Church of God Tuesday March 10, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Donald Bates and Allen Smith officiating the church service. Burial will follow at the Scaly Mountain Methodist Cemetery with Rev. Robert Dryman conducting the graveside service.

The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Monday evening March 9, 2020. The body will be taken to the. Scaly Mountain Church of God Tuesday March 10, 2020 to lie-in-state from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. (The Service Hour).

The family is at the home on Buck Knob Road Scaly Mountain, NC. The family asks that in lieu of flower memorial donations, be made in his memory, to Hunter Funeral Home P.O. Box 653 Clayton, GA. 30525 to help aid with funeral expenses.
