Lassie Garrett Bradshaw, 69, of Cat Gap Road, Clayton, GA., widow of Elbert James Bradshaw, died Friday May 23, 2008 in Mountain View Health Care Center.
Born in Rabun County, She was the daughter of the late John H. Garrett and Ethel Thompson Garrett. She had retired as manager of the Co-op Crafts Store, Tallulah Falls GA. and she was a member of the Persimmon Church of God.
She was preceded in death by brothers; Jack Garrett, Avery Garrett, Bailey Garrett and Bill Garrett. She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Steve and Ann Bradshaw and Bruce Bradshaw of Clayton. One daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Randy Speed of Clayton. One sister, Vassie G. Hopper of Clayton, GA. Five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Funeral Services will be at 2:00 PM Sunday May 25, 2008 at the Persimmon Church of God with Rev. Gary Ashe and Rev. Glenville Nichols officiating. Burial will follow in the Blalock Cemetery. The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where family will receive friends from 6 to 9 PM Saturday night May 24, 2008. The family is at the home of her daughter and son-in-law Donna and Randy Speed on Kingwood Drive in Clayton, GA.
