Larry Wayne Carpenter

Larry “Wayne” Carpenter, age 73, passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2023.

Wayne was born on August 6, 1950, to the late John Thomas Carpenter and Catherine “Webb” Carpenter. He was preceded in death by his wife Mildred Carpenter and his son Joshua Carpenter.

He is survived by one daughter, Elizabeth Smith; a son, David Webb; grandchildren, Hailey, Jackson, Cameron and Isabella Smith; brothers and sisters, Mike Carpenter, Geraldine Rich, Morris Carpenter, Randy Carpenter, Timmy Carpenter and Gail Williamson; and several nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to his wife, son and parents, Wayne was preceded by one sister, Cynthia Dooley and one brother, Shirley Carpenter.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, September 24, 2023, at 1:00 PM at the Eastside Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with Rev. Gary McCall officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM prior to the service. Interment will follow at Clear Creek Community Cemetery.
