Kimberly Owens

Kimberly Maxine Owens, 46, of Dud Creek Spur, Clayton, GA., died Wednesday April 26, 2017 in Emory University Hospital.

Born in Griffin, GA., February 5, 1971, she was the daughter of Harold Don Owens and the late Patricia Wampler Owens. And was employed in the retail Business and was of the Baptist Faith.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Wampler Owens and by a brother, Tim Owens and is survived by her parents, Don and Ona Owens of Clayton; one son Morgan Sneed (Alisha of Dayton, TN., three daughters, Kayla Wayne, Brianna Wayne and Alea Wayne of Clayton, GA., her Companion, Myron Padgett of Dawsonville, GA., one brother, Mike Owens (Tonya) of Otto, NC., one sister, Marti Scroggs (John) of Lakemont, GA., two grandchildren, Oakley Sneed and Everly Sneed of Dayton, TN., a special friend Shannon Carter of Clayton.

The body has been cremated and a memorial service will be held Saturday April 29, 2017 at 3: 00 P.M. at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with Rev. Jim McGahee officiating.

Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. TO 3:00 P.M. the funeral hour. A private burial will be held at a later date.

Family asks that in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made, in her memory, to Hunter Funeral Home, P.O. Box 653 Clayton, GA. 30525 to aid in funeral expenses.
