Karen Marie Evans, age 71, of Clayton, GA., passed away on April 1, 2020 at her daughter’s home.
She was born on February 18, 1949 to Annie Ravis in Pawnee, Oklahoma. She was a housewife and of the Baptist faith.
She is preceded in death by her mother, her husband Vernon Gene Evans, and one sister Tommi Spurgin. She is survived by two sons, Frank(Poncho) Hobucket of Mtn. City, GA., Thomas Hare of Franklin, NC., three daughters, Maydelia Sanders(Randy) of Clayton, GA., Leanna Justus(Gary) of Clayton, GA., Jo Gail Webb of Clayton, GA., two brothers, Jimmy Horn(Linda) of OK., Bobby Horn of OK., four sisters, Mary Salzar(Raymond) of Cushing, OK., Beverly Nuttle(Bill) of OK., Sue Reed(JoBob) of Moore, OK., and Sher-Al Vatter of Pawnee OK. Thirteen grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren also survive.
The body is at Hunter Funeral Home and will be cremated with a memorial service to follow on a later date.
The family is at the home of her daughter on Shepardville Trail in Clayton, GA.,
Hunter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
