Karen A. Brown, 50, of Bradford Rd. Clayton, Ga. died Friday June 2, 2017 at her home.
She was born in Clayton , Ga. to Betty Jo Brown of Clayton and the late Jimmy L. Brown. She was an employee in Child Caring and was a Baptist.

Karen was preceded in death by her Father, Jimmy L. Brown and a brother , Lawton Brown and is survived by her husband , Randy Barnett of the home , and her mother , Betty Jo Brown of Clayton. Also surviving are two sisters , Marie Gillespie (Dr. Larry ) of Clayton , Ga. and Beatrice Anderson (Murray) of Canton, Ga., two nieces , Heather Gillespie and Ansley Anderson and a nephew , Carl Brown.
Funeral services will be Monday June 5, 2017 at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with Rev. Harvey Conner officiating. Burial will be in the Scaly Mtn. Methodist Cemetery , Scaly Mtn. N.C. The body is at the Chapel and visitation will be Monday June 5, 2017 from 11:00 am to 1:00pm (The Funeral Hour). The family is at home on Bradford Rd., Clayton , Ga.
