Judy Sharon Patterson Payne, 64, of Shadyside Drive, Clayton, Ga. Died Saturday October 10, 2009 in Lawrenceville, Ga.
Born in Rabun County, Ga. August 21, 1945 she was the daughter of Burma Dickerson Patterson of Clayton and the late John Lee Patterson. She graduated from Rabun County High School in 1963 and was a homemaker along with various activities. And was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church.
She is survived by her mother, Burma Dickerson Patterson of Clayton; one son David Lee Payne and his wife Alexandra of Cleveland, Ga., one daughter Candi Talley and her husband Brian of Clayton, Ga., three brothers Robert Patterson of Rocky Face, Ga. , Delmo Patterson of Tiger, Ga., and Doyle Patterson of Clayton, Ga., two sisters; Jane Oliver of Auburn, Ga., and Joyce Reeves of Tallulah Falls, Ga., six grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Sue Patterson.
Funeral Services will be at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday October 13, 2009 at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Cannon and Layman Lloyd Hunter officiating. Burial will be in the Liberty Cemetery.
The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where family will receive friends from 7 to 9 P.M. Monday October 12, 2009. The family is at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Candi and Brian Talley on Aviator Lane, off Warwoman Road, Clayton, Ga.
