Judson Thompson

Judson Thompson, 61, of Chpped Oak Church Road, Toccoa, Georgia., in Habersham County, GA., died Sunday July 26, 2015 in Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Born in Rabun County March 18, 1954, he was the son of the late Harold Thompson, Sr., and Tessie Mae Parker Thompson. He lived most of his life in Rabun County. He was a supervisor in DOT of State of Georgia., and a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church in Franklin County Georgia.

Judson was preceded in death by his parents and by brothers, Harold Thompson, Jr., and Gene Thompson and is survived by his beloved Vickie Jamison and three sons, Robin Thompson (Chantel) of Clayton, GA., Marty Thompson (Wanda) of Tamassee, SC., and Justin Thompson of Otto, NC. One daughter, Brandie Thompson, (Lee) of Woodstock, GA. Eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren and two special lifelong friends, Ouida McDow and Kathy Thompson.

Funeral Services will be Tuesday July 28 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at the Persimmon Baptist Church with Rev. Roger Loggins officiating. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery.

The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where visitation will be from 6 to 8 P.M. Monday July 27, 2015. The family is at the home of his niece, Cathy Thompson on Redwood Lane, Tiger, GA.,
