Joyce Brooker Weizer, 84, Scaly Mountain, North Carolina


Joyce Brooker Weizer, 84, of Scaly Mountain North Carolina, she died March 17, 2011 at her residence.
Born in Lake Worth, Florida August 21, 1926. She was the daughter of the late William Brooker and Dora Barfield. She was the owner of SouthEastern Door, and was Baptist by Faith. She enjoyed gardening, spending time with her animals, and an avid collector of everything.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of many years, William Sigmond Weizer, one son, William (Billy) Weizer, five brothers, David, Charles, Ralph, Roy, William and George Brooker, three sisters, Mary Iannetti, Audrey Davis, Blanch Brooker, and twin sister Eloise O’Leary.
She is survived by her loving grandchildren, one granddaughter Cheryl and her husband Tracy Justus of Rabun Gap, Georgia, one grandson, Troy and his wife Holly Weizer of Jupiter, Florida, five great grandchildren, Adam and Seth Justus, and Will, Faith and Walker Weizer.
Funeral services will be held in Jupiter, Florida at the Taylor-Modeen Funeral Home Chapel, Saturday March 26, 2011 at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at the Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery in Tequesta, Florida.
The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Monday March 21, 2011. There will also be a visitation conducted for family and friends in Jupiter, Florida Friday March 25, 2011 5 to 7 P.M. at Taylor-Modeen Funeral Home.
The family is at the respected residences.
