Joyce Marie Ramey

Joyce Marie Ramey, age 70, of Clayton, Georgia,  passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at her home in Clayton, Georgia with her family by her side. 

Joyce was born March 11, 1953 in Rabun County, and is the daughter of Kelton Watts and Ida "Gibson" Watts. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Ramey.  Joyce was a homemaker who enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her family and grandbabies. She loved her Lord and also being able to watch her birds at her house. 

She is survived by two daughters, Karen Keith and husband Luke, Crystal Cunningham and husband Brian and Kim Watkins and husband Joel; five grandchildren, Keaven Ramey, Bailey Cunningham, David "DJ" Cunningham, Jamie Keith and Kylie Keith; one sister, Janice Edmondson and husband Frank; one brother, Joe Watts and wife Kathy; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her husband and parents she is preceded in death by her siblings, Bill Watts, Jimmy Watts, Shirley Welborn and Evelyn Watts.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 20, 2023 at 7:00 PM with Rev. Oliver Rice and Pastor Joe McCrackin officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at the funeral home. 

The family will be gathering at the home of Joyce on Louisiana Circle.
