Joseph Dickerson

Joseph Kyle Dickerson, 84, of Pendergrass, GA., formerly of Rabun Gap, died Tuesday morning, January 30, 2018 at his home in Pendergrass.

Kyle was born October 26, 1933 in Rabun Gap, GA., to the late Ed and Alma Ramey Dickerson. He was retired as an engineer in the computer industry with IBM. He was a member of Wolffork Baptist Church.

Kyle was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Alma Dickerson, brothers, Lynn, Grant, Tim and Donald and is survived by his wife Harlene Watts Dickerson of the home, two sons, Martin Dickerson (Susie) of Lawrenceville, GA., and Eric Dickerson (Sandra) of Pendergrass, GA., one daughter, Amy Marney (Tom) of Lawrenceville, GA., three brothers, Kenneth Dickerson (Nita) of Canton, GA., Wayne Dickerson, of Clayton, GA., and Marcel Dickerson, of Rabun Gap, GA., three sisters, Jewell Arrowood of Lakemont, GA., Ruth Williams, of Rabun Gap, GA., and Irma Loupe of Norcross, GA. Six grandchildren also survive, Jessica, Kimberly and (Ryan), Chelsea, Zachary, Caitlin, and (Will) and Matthew.

Funeral Services will be Saturday February 3, 2018 at 2:00PM at the Wolffork Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Greer and Layman Lloyd Hunter officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The body is at Hunter Funeral Home and visitation will be at the Wolffork Baptist Church Saturday February 3, 2018 from 12:00 Noon to 2:00PM (The Funeral Hour). The family is at their respective residences.
