Jonathan "David" Mooney Sr.

Jonathan "David" Mooney, Sr., age 64 of Clayton, Georgia, passed away Saturday, September 7, 2024 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Mr. Mooney was born Sunday, February 21, 1960 in Dalton, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his mother, Eula Mae Mooney.

Mr. Mooney was a United States Army Veteran. David had was a self employed mechanic for many years. He will be remembered as a kind and caring man. who enjoyed time with his family and loved spending time working on cars, especially Fords. He will be dearly missed by his family.

He is survived by his son, Jonathan David Mooney, Jr., of Clayton; daughter, Cynthia Mooney, of Walhalla, SC; grandchildren, Paxton Moony, Dillon Garrison, Isabella Mooney, Braylon Garrison, and Khloe Mooney.

Mr. Mooney's wishes were to be cremated. A private service will be held for the family.
