John F. Platt, Jr., 80, of Sky Valley, GA., husband of Maureen McKenna Platt died Saturday, March 1, 2008.
Born June 29, 1927, in Schuykil County, PA., he was a son of the late John F. Platt, Sr. and Emily Watkins Platt. He was a salesman in the Fiber industry, a Mason, a U.S. Navy Veteran and a member of the Sky Valley Chapel.
Surviving are his wife; Maureen Platt, one daughter; Cynthia Platt, a grandson; Albert Zuniga, a brother-in-law; Lawrence McKenna and wife; Barbara, and one niece Dr. Allison Keenan and husband Chris.
The body has been cremated and services will be announced at a later date.
