Mr. Jerry Charles Elliott, age 56, of Royston, Georgia died Monday, May 2, 2011, at his home.
Born December 8, 1954 in Clayton, Georgia, he was a son of the late J.C. and Lillian Taylor Elliott. Jerry was a truck driver with Bear Creek Grading Company and attended MT. Holiness Church in Lula, Georgia. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting and was affiliated with Truckers for kids
. He is survived by his wife, Julia Moore Elliott; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Jason C.and Megan Elliott of Franklin County; two daughters and sons-in-law, Jennifer and Mark Holloway of Franklin county and Bobby Owens of Stephens County; 5 sisters and brothers-in-law, Alena and bud Lawrence, Anita and David Barlow, Barbara Elliott, Patricia and Ricky Randall, and Teresa Davis; 12 grandchildren, Morgan and Marlyn Crayton, Madison Marvel, Alisha, Christian, and Caleb Jones, Makale, Savannah, Jesse, Doc, Kole and Cherokee Owens.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday May 6, 2011, at the Chapel of Whitlock Mortuary with Pastor Nathan Hewatt and Mr. Avery Lawrence Officiating. Interment will be at Roselane Cemetery with the Rev. Kevin Sullivan officiating at the graveside.
The family will receive friends from 3-5 PM and 7-9 PM Thursday at the mortuary.
