Jeanette Moseley Kell, 85, of Wayah Trail, Clayton, Georgia, died Sunday afternoon, July 3, 2011, at her residence.
Born in Clayton, Georgia, December 22, 1925, she was the daughter of the late John Major Moseley and Nettie Rhodes Moseley. She was the widow of George W. Kell. She was the last member of her immediate family.
Mrs. Kell was employed for many years in the textile industry. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star (OES), Chapter 164 of Clayton. She was a member of the Battle Branch Baptist Church.
Surviving her are: one son, Knox G. Kell and his wife Judy of Clayton, one daughter, Janice English and her husband Keith of Clayton. Three grandchildren: Roxie English, Kevin Kell and Kristie Thompson, and four great grandchildren. Several nephews and nieces also survive.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday July 6, 2011 at Battle Branch Baptist Church with Rev. Madison McCrackin officiating. Burial will be in the Bethel Cemetery Tiger, Georgia.
The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. Tuesday July 5, 2011. The family is at the home on Wayah Trail, Clayton, Georgia. The family asks that in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made, in her memory, to the Battle Branch Baptist Church, PO Box 483, Clayton, Georgia, 30525.
