Jean Teague Dixon, 78, of Moongrove Church Road, Danielsville, Georgia., died Wednesday October 26, 2011 in Athens Regional Medical Center Athens, Georgia.
Born in Rabun County Georgia September 27, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Roy Teague and Hattie James Teague Watkins. She was a nurse (LPN) and was a member of the Battle Branch Baptist Church. She was the widow of Leamon (Red) Dixon.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Susie Coffee, and by three brothers, Jack Teague, Dewey Teague and Bud Teague. She is survived by one daughter and her husband Rebecca and Danny Farmer of Danielsville, GA., one brother, Ray Teague of Highlands, Mich. One sister, Jane Martindale of Arkansas. Three grandchildren, Charity Farmer Allen, Todd Farmer and Dusty Farmer and nine great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be at 1:00 P.M. Saturday October 29, 2011 at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Cannon officiating. Burial will be in the Antioch cemetery in the warwoman community.
The body is at Hunter Funeral Home, where family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Friday October 28, 2011.
The family is at their respective residences.
