J.C Love, 71 of Columbus Circle, Mountain City, Georgia died Monday night June 3, 2013 at Mountain Lakes Medical Center.
Born in Rabun County, November 20, 1941, he was the son of Allene Justus Church and the late J.D. Love. He was a retired employee of the textile industry, with Burlington. A former member of the Rabun County Coon Hunters Club, a good golfer for many years, a good gardner, and was a member of North Clayton Baptist Church.
J.C. was preceded in death by his wife Amy Grace Queen Love in 1995, and by his father, J.D. Love and a brother, Robert A. Love, and is survived by his mother, Allene Justus Church of Tiger; two son’s Jim Love of Tiger and L.C. Love of MT. City, four daughters: Debbie Million and Christine Love of Clayton, Ga., Tammy Garrison (Joe) of Mt. City, Ga., Becky Blalock (Erik) of Tiger, Ga. One Sister, Beverly Love Crowe (Hayden) of John’s Creek, Ga., eleven grandchildren, three great grandchildren, several nephews, nieces and cousins and a special friend, Sam Purdy of Mt. City, Ga also survive.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 A.M. Thursday June 6, 2013 at the New Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with Rev. Joe McCrackin officiating. Burial will be in the Blue Heights Cemetery.
The body is at the New Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home where family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday June 5, 2013. The family is at the home of his daughter and son-in-law Tammy and Joe Garrison on Blacks Creek Road, Mt. City, Georgia.
