Jason Dee Speed, 29, of Germany Road, Clayton, Georgia. died Friday December 14, 2012.
Born in Stephens County, November 13, 1983, he was the son of John D. Speed, Jr., and Billie Ann Harmon. Jason was a shipping clerk at AID Corporation and owned and operated PWR Wrestling at the Georgia Mountain Flea Market. He was of the Methodist Faith.
Jason was preceded in death by a sister, Amanda Deann Speed and by grandparents, Bill Harmon and by John D. Speed, Sr. and Myrtle Page Speed, and is survived by his parents, John Dee Speed, Jr., of Clayton and Billie Ann and Tony Diaz of Cornelia, Ga., and his maternal grandmother, Barbara Ledbetter Harmon of Clayton, in the home where he was reared. A brother, Justin Henslee, also survives.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday December 17, 2012 at Antioch United Methodist Church in the Warwoman Community with Rev. Raymond Page and Rev. Ronia Hunter officiating. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery.
The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Sunday December 16, 2012. The family is at the home of his grandmother, Barbara Harmon on Germany Road, Clayton, Georgia, and at the home of Karen Watkins on Joe Speed Road in the Warwoman Community Clayton, Georgia.
