Janie Sue McCrackin Mosley, 64, Lakemont, Georgia


Janie Sue McCrackin Moseley, 64, of Lakemont, Georgia, died Sunday November 14, 2010 in Mountain View Health Care in Clayton.
Born August 23, 1946 in Clayton, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Robert C. McCrackin, Sr., and Lola Jane Shirley McCrackin. She was the widow of William Thomas (Tom) Moseley. Mrs. Moseley was employed in the food service program of the Rabun County School System for more then 30 years. She was a member of the Joy Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by a son, William Bradley Moseley, and by two brothers, Jim and Andy McCrackin and is survived by a son and daughter- in-law, Kevin and Sherry Moseley of Clayton; a daughter and son-in-law, Tonya and Randy McKay of Lakemont. Three brothers, Bob McCrackin of Gainesville, Sam McCrackin and Will McCrackin of Lakemont. Three sisters; Edith Franklin and Peggy McCrackin of Lakemont and Betty McCrackin of Tallulah Falls. 6 grandchildren; Blake, Cody, Tori and Hannah Moseley and Dana and Dalton McKay. Several nephews, nieces and cousins also survive.
Funeral Services will be at 12:00 Noon Tuesday November 16, 2010 at the Joy Baptist Church with Rev. Tony Goss and Rev. John Gipson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where family will receive friends Monday night November 15, 2010 from 7 to 9 P.M.
The body will be placed in the Church at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday to lie in state. The family will visit at the Church from 11:00 A.M. till the funeral hour. The family is at the home of her daughter and son-in-law Tonya and Randy McKay on McCall Lane, Lakemont.
