Janie Asherbranner Love Brown, age 74 of Clayton, Georgia, passed away Monday, March 4, 2024.
She was born Monday, September 12, 1949 in Rabun County and was the daughter of the late Grady and Martha Asherbranner.
Janie enjoyed being outdoors especially fishing or going to yard sales but most of all she loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughters, Robin Craine (Jake) of Clayton, Rhonda Watts (Dean Taylor) of Clayton, and Roxie Shirley (Leon) of Tiger; six grandchildren, Josh Watts, Jacob Craine, Dustin Watts, Kimberly Burrell, Katie Tyler and Savannah Phillips; nine great grandchildren, Hunter Watts, Caleb Tyler, Bella Watts, Griffin Watts, Cade Noel Tyler, Gracie Watts, Cole Burrell, Chole Craine and Eva Claire Phillips; one sister, Joyce Shook of Clayton; a special caring friend, Elizabeth Webb and several nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one son, Wade Love; two sister, Doris Scroggs and Lois Lovell; and three brothers, Jim Asherbranner, Bud Asherbranner and Pete Asherbranner.
Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, March 6, 2024, 1:00 PM at Hunter Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Carver officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 6, 2024, 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at the funeral home prior to the service.
