Jane Queen Justus, 72, of Wayah Trail, Clayton, Georgia., died Thursday morning, December 12, 2013 at her residence.
Born in Rabun County September 16, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Emory N. and Pearl Bottoms Queen. She was a member of AARP and a member of Mountain Grove Baptist Church. She was the widow of Harvey H. Justus.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers; Floyd, Nelson, Emory, Jr., Lawrence, Clarence, Noah, Ralph and Delmer Queen and by sisters, Vera Queen and Grace Love, and is survived by one son, Anthony Justus of Queen Creek, Arizona. One daughter, Sherry J. Welch, Clayton, GA., two brothers, Lester Queen of Byron, GA., and Lamon E. Queen of Clayton, GA. One grandson, Michael Ryan Welch and his wife, Christie of Clayton and great grandchildren Bryce Wayne Welch and Molly June Welch. Several nephews, nieces and cousins also survive.
Funeral Services will be at 8:00 P.M. Friday December 13, 2013 at the new Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Cannon officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home chapel Friday from 6 TO 8 P.M. (The Funeral Hour). Cremation will follow the services. The family is at the home on Wayah Trail. The family asks that in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made, in her honor, to the Sid Weber Memorial Cancer Fund P.O. Box 485, Rabun Gap, GA. 30568.
