James Henson

James L. Henson, Jr., 61, of Elberton, GA., formerly of Rabun County, died Saturday night March 24, 2018 in Athens Regional Hospital in Athens, GA.

Born in Miami, Florida April 24, 1956, he was the son of the late James Lesley Henson, Sr. and Myra Caroline Sherman Henson. He was a contractor in the construction industry and was a member of the Clayton Baptist Church.

He is survived by a nephew, James M. McCoy of Clayton, GA., and by a niece, Sunshine McCoy of Athens, GA., a brother-in-law, Randall McCoy of Elberton, GA.

The body has been cremated and no service has been planned at this time. The family is at their respective residences.
