Jack A. Watts, 71, of Clayton, Georgia., died Saturday January 2, 2010 at his residence.
Born in Rabun County September 12, 1938 he was the son of the late William Herbert (Hub) Watts and Fannie Mae Tyler Watts. He had spent more then half of his life in California. He was a retired school bus driver with the Rabun County school bus system, and was a member of the Mountain Grove Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife Mary Ellen Walters Watts of the home., Two sons, Eddie Watts of San Fernando Valley, Ca., and Raymond Watts of Clayton. Four brothers Calvin Watts, Jimmy B. Watts and David Watts all of Clarkesville and Terry watts of Clayton., Five sisters; Shirley Watts of Clarkesville, Jean Miller of Mt Airy, Ga., Glenda Dyer of Cornelia, Ann Smith of Homer, and Gail Coalley of Clayton. Three Grandchildren; Lina, Amy and Shanda of California. Two great grandchildren also survive.
The body has been cremated and a Memorial Service will be held at the Mountain Grove Baptist Church Sunday January 10, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. conducted by Rev. Larry Cannon.
The family is at home on Rhonda Drive, Clayton.
