Jack B. Lightfoot, Sr. 72, Tiger, GA


Jack B. Lightfoot, Sr. 72, of Tiger, GA., died Sunday August 3, 2008 at his home.
Born in Chatham County, GA., January 12, 1936, he was the son of the late Thomas D. and Martha Hedwig van Rentz Lightfoot.
He was a business consultant in management guidance after graduating from Armstrong State College in Savannah, GA., with degree in BBA Management AA Liberal. And worked on his master's, had numerous training classes, seminars and others too numerous to mention. He did consultant work with various companies and technical colleges, teaching and training, working with insurance and in administration, employment. worked with Munford of Atlanta, Frito-Lay, Inc. in Chamblee, GA., Savannah Typographical Union of Savannah and Lightfoot Nursing Home 40 bed unit as Administrator and all activities. He was a member of the Tiger United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Kanawha (Connie) Mitchell Lightfoot, who is a registered nurse, of the home. Two sons- Jack B. Lightfoot of Ringgold, GA. and Derek L. Lightfoot of Bethlehem, GA. One brother- Thomas D. Lightfoot, Jr. of Stone Mountain, GA.
The body has been cremated and a memorial service and interment will be at 2:00 PM Thursday August 7, 2008 at Rock Mountain Cemetery at Tallulah Falls, GA. with the Rev. James E. Turpin officiating.
Family asks that in lieu of flowers Donations be made to the Tiger United Methodist Church, PO Box 497, Tiger, GA. 30576.
